Obituary of Jean E. Husar

Jean Evelyn (Hill) Husar, age 88, entered eternal rest on January 11, 2025, in Shelton, Connecticut. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert D. Husar. Jean was born in Rouses Point, New York on April 9, 1936, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Chinvert) Hill. She was a registered nurse and worked at various hospitals and long-term care facilities over her career. In 1956 she married the love of her life, Robert, and moved to Shelton.

Jean was a devoted wife and mother and always put her family first. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She cherished the times when her family gathered in her home for Christmas and other family events. Jean was overjoyed to be a great grandmother as the family continued to grow.

Jean had a beautiful, sweet smile, and her kindness and selflessness knew no bounds. She was very special to her entire family, and memories of her will be remembered always.

Jean leaves to cherish her memory her four daughters Beverly Outlaw (Roger) of Oxford, Deborah Outlaw (Gary) of Oxford, Pamela Lucarelle (Mark) of Woodbury, and Cheryl Wyskiel (Robert) of Seymour; cherished grandchildren John Lucarelle (Kali) of Woodbury, Allison Dombroski (Matt) of Shelton, Ashley Outlaw (Mark Brousseau) of Shelton, Brian Outlaw (Nicole) of Tolland, Brittany Andrews (Ryan) of Branford, Jason Outlaw (Sarah) of Cheshire, Jeffrey Lucarelle of Woodbury, Lauren Musinski (Sam) of Wallingford, Carrie Fuller (Mack) of Easton, Bonnie Damico (Eddie) of Southbury; and most cherished great grandchildren Riley, Katherine, Astrid, Bohdi, Madison, Marley,Troy, Avery, and Grant.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert, three brothers Gerald, Alan, and Richard, granddaughter Kimberly, and great grandson Buddha.

The family would like to thank all of Jean's wonderful caregivers who have helped her over the past three years.
